What We Do

At Parachute, our orthodontic care reflects the latest advancements in technology, guided by a patient-centered philosophy. We are dedicated to delivering comfortable, efficient treatment with natural, balanced results for patients of all ages—from young children to adults seeking to refine and optimize their smiles.

01.

For Kids

This starts around age 7, when kids have a mix of baby and adult teeth. We use growth-friendly appliances to make space, guide jaw development, or gently course-correct anything that’s off-track before it gets complicated.

In this phase, the orthodontic focuses on:

  • Underbites – when the lower front teeth are ahead of the upper front teeth

  • Crossbites – when the jaw shifts to one side

  • Very crowded teeth

  • Excessively spaced teeth

  • Extra or missing teeth

  • Teeth that meet abnormally, or don’t meet at all

  • Thumb-, finger-, or pacifier- sucking that is affecting the teeth or jaw growth

02.

For Teens

Teenage (typically ages 11–15) is the "golden window" for orthodontics because the jaw is still developing and all permanent teeth have erupted. Leveraging growth spurts makes teeth more responsive to adjustments, allowing orthodontists to efficiently correct alignment, bite issues, and prevent future problems like tooth decay, trauma, and periodontal disease.

In this phase, the orthodontic focuses on:

  • Crowding – creating space for teeth that are too close together

  • Bite Misalignment –  correcting issues that cause uneven wear, jaw pain, or speech problems

  • Protrusion –  fixing flared front teeth to reduce the risk of injury

  • Facial Profile – improving facial  balance and overall appearance

03.

For Adults

It’s never too late to prioritize your smile. We provide discreet, thoughtfully designed treatment options tailored to the needs of adult patients. We believe orthodontic care should feel supportive—not stressful or intimidating. From streamlined scheduling to a welcoming, comfortable environment, we are committed to making every visit as seamless and reassuring as possible.

In this phase, the orthodontic focuses on:

  • Correcting bite issues or misaligned teeth

  • Preparing for restorative or cosmetic dental work

  • Improving oral health and preventing future complications

Our adult orthodontic treatments are designed to fit seamlessly into your lifestyle and deliver results you can be confident about.

Your Visits

New patients can expect an easy, three phase process for their oral care.

01

THE CONSULTATION

Every patient’s journey begins with a free consultation where we determine the candidacy of the patient. Digital records including photographs, radiographs, and a quick two minute scan has replaced the need for messy impressions.

02

THE PLACEMENT

The second visit will involve placing your new orthodontic appliance and will last anywhere from 10 to 90 minutes, depending on the solution. We will provide home care instruction and schedule ongoing visits.

03

ONGOING VISITS

Every patient’s treatment plan is customized for the complexity of their situation and the solution determined. Ongoing visits range from every 4-12 weeks for a period from 6 months to up to 1-2 years.
